Ancient History according to the world, views Egypt as the oldest civilization dating it thousands of years before the birth of Abraham the Hebrew. However, Abraham was born in the year 2052 BCE or ( 1948 ) and the world flood of Noah's time occurred in the year 2344 BCE or ( 1656 ) dating from the commission of Adam the first Man's rule in the Earth realm on the 8th day. The Bible dates the beginning of mankind's life or rule in the Earth realm to be 4000 years before the birth of Christ.
Abraham, the well known patriarch and prophet of the Hebrews, was born in the year 1948. He left the land of Babylon and dwelt in the city state called Haran, which was within the borders of the Assyrian Empire, before journeying down into the land of Canaan. During the early years of the Egyptian empire, Abraham sojourned among the Egyptians for a while, between the years 2023 and 2048 when food was scarce in the land of Canaan and acquired cattle and servants from the Egyptians. His descendants later served the Egyptians and helped them become the great and powerful nation of historical renown.
The world dates history from the Birth of Jesus The Christ, which was 2000 years ago and counts back, for example 100 years before the Christ was the year 100 BCE., 500 years before Christ is considered 500 BCE. and 2500 years before Christ is considered the year 2500 BCE. and is called the Early Bronze Age. Papyrus, which was a Egyptian type of media (similar to paper) used to record information, was found dating from the Early Bronze Age. However, the Gilgamesh tablets found dating from the time of Hammurabi, who was a leader in the Babylonian Dynasty, about the year 1780 BCE., which was during the Middle Bronze Age, spoke of a worldwide flood and the destruction that followed.
The Epic of Gilgamesh is a story written by Shin-eqi-unninni, in the Akkadian language, a Semitic language documented on twelve stone tablets. Shin-eqi-unninni, is said to be the oldest known human author of any known ancient literal work to date. The twelve stone tablets were found in the ruins of the library of Ashurbanipal, king of Assyria 669-633 BCE., at Nineveh. The library was destroyed by the Persians in 612 BCE., and all the tablets had suffered a certain amount of damage. Shin-eqi-unninni, writes in his story about a supposed historical king of Uruk in Babylonia, on the River Euphrates in modern Iraq; the king lived about 2700 BCE., which would be about the year 1300. (that is 370 years after the death of Adam the first man) According to the chronological table of the descendants of Adam, the great flood, which is spoken of in Shin-eqi-unninni's ancient poetic myth about King Gilgamesh, who was a king of Babylon, before the flood. The biblical record of the flood is in the year 1656. The Bible states that the Empire of Babylon did not come into existence until after the flood between the years 1698 and 2187 some time before or after the birth of Eber, a descendant of Shem, the son of Noah. The Epic of Gilgamesh serves as an external resource that could add credibility to Noah's flood experience although characters and ideas presented in the story are very different. The above references to the Babylonians, and the Persians add veracity to Daniel the prophet's writing concerning the rise and fall of the Babylonians, and the Persians of his time, and of the Greeks and Romans ( who descended from Japheth, the oldest son of Noah , who's offspring the Gentiles ) seemingly presently control today's political and social structure, which was written down by Daniel 400 and some odd years before the birth of Jesus the Christ.

It is fun and educational for Christians to research events of the Bible with other world events as the rise of civilzations in India and China's different ruling dynastys. Not to meantion a way to understand God and the Biblical truth vs hard secular naturalism, in my opinion. For instance, it's cool to learn that the earth-covering Flood with Noah's Ark came at at least 2344 BC (or 2344 BCE). However, a strange thing is that acording to secular sceince 2344 BCE is right inside the Broze Age. Secular science tends to devide prehistoric history into The Stone Age, Bronze Age, and Iron Age. Some people who theorize that Noah's Flood was just a small local fllod in the Black Sea and God's worldwide Flood is a myth, they use this "Brone Age in the middle of flood" as "proof" to their claims. They claim that the Bronze Age was uninterupted at all. But it's still real that the Flood really made the earth into a ball of water, ot just flooding a tieny tiny place, since there is no way to explain how the land of Pangea split up into seven big masses of land and some islands. Anything else to prove if the Flood was local or world-wide?according to my view noah flood was occured on that time when human civilization was on a fixed flatform or fixed area. as if the black sea without water will be like a cup and down to the ground level might be the first human civilization upto the time of noah. and as the water came from the sky the cup started filling up upto the todays level of black sea. its just a view without any written source.

It would make more sense that the flood was worldwide, why not tell Noah to move instead of hang around for a whole bunch of time to build a boat and fill it with animals and food, and stay on it for so long, if he started to leave the area when God told him of the coming flood could he not have gotten to a safe place where there was an abundance of food dry land etc. just a thought.P.S people say it is impossible to build a boat that long, apparently the Chinese built boats that where really big or at least really long, longer than the length most people would say is the max length.
I agree. It was being said that it was imposible for ancient men to build huge civilizations, that is until they started digging and uncovering stuff, evidence that counters what had been said. Remember that todays inventions were only yesterday's thoughts (back in the day). Only thing is the way was made esier for men to surpass the mental block that held aincient men at bay is the information they passed on through history, in whatever form. If it was not for the story of Noah and the big boat...who's to say that the titanic would have ever been built. Or talk of super cruisers crossing our sea today.
